In
April 2007 the International Kyudo Federation (IKYF) held an major
event in Tokyo at the Nippon Budokan to celebrate its inauguration. The
event was held over two days with a series of opening ceremonies and
celebratory shooting demonstrations.
Prior to
this
meeting a special seminar was held for the foreign participants at the Central
Kyudojo in the Meji Shrine Complex. 15
member nations of the European Kyudo Federation took part as well as
members of the
American Kyudo Renmei and delegates from New Zealand, Taiwan and the
Czech Republic.
